Since earning her Certification in Massage Therapy from Heartwood Institute in 2007, Lindsay Sharp has been serving her hometown of Bakersfield, helping individuals seeking healing in body and mind. Integrating deep wisdom with lighthearted humor and understanding, her offerings include traditional massage therapy infused with Chinese Medical Qi Gong, intuitive counseling, healing touch therapy for hospice patients, and stress reduction seminars for nurses and caregivers. She is also a certified Medical Yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner.
In 2006, Lindsay began implementing healing movement curriculum for both children and adults through weekly classes at Bakersfield's Inner Bodyworks Studio and other community venues.
In 2009, she became a teacher for the Levan Institute of Lifelong Learning, where she develops and facilitates courses in meditation and Qi Gong.
Lindsay is a member of the Zen Fellowship of Bakersfield, the Dharmata Fellowship of Point Richmond, and the US Chapter of Mediyoga International. Lindsay is also an active student in the Ling Qi Dao Center for Healing Arts in Santa Cruz, California. She has also been a hospice patient volunteer in the Bakersfield community since 2006.
Intuitive, warm, present and perceptive, Lindsay continues to devote herself to serving others, helping them to heal mind, body and soul.
